Wednesday

1st, 2nd, & 5th English classes:  Bellringer
Accentuate: ac·cen·tu·ate–verb (used with object), -at·ed, -at·ing. a. to give emphasis or prominence to.
b. to mark or pronounce with an accent.
1. Copy the definition (both)
2.  Use the word in a sentence.
“You’ve got to accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, latch on to the affirmative, and don’t mess with Mr. In-Between.”
  • English classes- Mr. Delbridge, Counselor spoke to the class about Priorities and Goals.  Turn in Goal sheet
4th and 6th Period Speech:  Speech Book, p. 48. Complete To Remember Questions 1, 4, 5, 10. Write questions and answers.
  • 4th period - Game for Practicing Speaking with Confidence & Conviction;
  • 6th - Started Chapter on Listening (Ch. 3)
