Finish for homework;  1st - read through chapter 3, 2nd through chapter 2 of We Beat the Street.  5th period - reviewd and graded worksheet on subjects/predicates; discussed irony; listened to 1st part of "Gift of the Magi."

4th and 6th periods- Bellringer
Define courtesy, tact, and etiquette
Class work:  power point on chapter 5- Interpersonal Communication; practiced introductions; discussed phone conversation and etiquette.
