1st and 5th - worked on vocabulary bags and cards; 5th finished figurative language assignment.  2nd finished story, "A Sound of Thunder" and started on figurative language examples from the story.
4th and 6th period - Bell ringer - take  notes on an index card.  Test on Chapters 1-3 in Speech Book. 
Class work:  Watched clip on non-verbal communication; discussed non-verbal expressions.
