Tuesday

1st block:  Bell ringer-
1. Traveling home was the Odysseus' greatest wish.
2. Wandering Odysseus desired to return to Ithaca.
3. Odysseus longed to see his desired wife, Penelope.
How do the bold words function in each sentence, i.e part of speech?
Ex. 13 6-10; Identify verbal by underlining it in sentence, then list as gerund, infinitive, or participle.
Read The Odyssey through the Land of the Dead Chapter; Watch more of the movie.

2nd block:  Bellringer Speech May 11, 2010

1. List the voice features associated with delivering a speech:
2. What is the gesture box?
3. What is the most important facial feature?
Discuss How To Project:  Directions in Powerpoint;  Read children's books - work on delivery concepts discussed in class

3rd block:  Copy notes on Musical Score and definition of reprise
Continue - taking notes on musical theatre
Distribute requirements for project; Finish Grease.
