Watch clip on Richard Wright - list 3 things about the author; read the Rights to the Streets of Memphis; respond in a journal entry to one of the following prompts:
Write a 5 sentence paragraph with a topic sentence and a conclusion.
1 - How might things have been different if Richard had not won the fights in spite of standing up for his convictions?
2- Describe the mother and explain why she chose to do what she did, and whether or not you agree with her actions.
3- Describe a time where you took up for yourself or someone close to you.
