Daily - discuss sentence fragments too; Discuss thesis statements & how to write and cite parenthetically. Go to library for research.
2nd block - Speech Class bellringer: Define Interpersonal Communication on p. 100.
Divide into groups - prepare introduction scenarios. Discuss tones in speech - aggressive, assertive, non-assertive; Take notes.
3rd block - Bellringer: Questions from Movie (Listen to Me):
1. What is the story line (plot) about?
2. What issue will the students be researching and debating?
3. Who ends up being debate partners?
4. What was the first issue debated in the movie?
Finish the movie in class.
