1st block - Bellringer - Notes on Demonstrative Pronouns
Demonstrative Pronouns - point out persons, places, things

Using notes from Tues. and today, do exercise 18, p. 449, 1-10. You do not have to write sentences, but write the appropriate pronoun and tell its type. The first one is done for you below.

2nd and 3rd blocks Speech bellringer - True/False Questions on Confidence

1. Confidence is a trait that you are born with.
2. The common physical signs of stage fright occur right before we speak.
3. An accurate perception is a tool that helps us learn more about ourselves and our objectives.
4. Confidence is the internal framework of effective communication.
5. Notes can be a substitute for preparation.
6. Every speech needs organization, and must have a main idea and supporting evidence.
7. Newness could mean taking a different approach to a topic and presenting it in a unique way.
8. Confidence can be magnified when you have a strong belief in your spoken words.

10. Enthusiasm is a good way to use your communication apprehension.
