·A sentence is a group of words expressing a complete thought.
·The subject is the part of the sentence about which something is being said (this is usually a noun or group of words acting as a noun.
·The predicate is the part that says something about the subject, the action or state of being.
·Simple subjects - The main noun, pronoun (or words acting as noun)
·Simple predicate - verb or verb phrase
·Complete subjects and predicates include every word in the sentence, either describing the subject or saying something about the verb.
