1st & 2nd periodMonday Bell ringer - Writing Prompt:
Think about the title: To Kill a Mockingbird and what it means in the book. Choose one character and respond to the following:
  • Which character defines the mockingbird to you? Explain your answer in a paragraph of 4-5 sentences.
4th period:  powerpoint on persuasive speaking; role play persuasive speaking situations; discuss upcoming speeches & topics

5th period:  5th period bell ringer

Romeo and Juliet Assessments Due
p. 347 Write Source Book -
List the types of materials that can be used in research
Go to Media Center to start researching Phenix City History
 
6th period:  media center for research on persuasive speeches
