Write down the following questions:
1. Summarize: What is the article/video about?
2. Recall: What is the name of the family who initially won the verdict?
3. Predict: What do you think the U.S. Supreme Court will decide?
4. Decide: Whose side are you on in this debate? Why?
Class Work: Debate the topic in class. Work on adjectives and adverbs and the differences between them. Complete worksheet and review.
4th & 6th: Bell ringer - p. 251; Answer the questions regarding chapter 10.
Class work: discuss answers to questions; divide into groups - choose a school rule you would like to change and come up with logical reasons for the change. Present to class.
