Tuesday

1st block bellringer: Copy Definitions
Conjunctions- words that join single words or groups of words.
Types:
  • Coordinating - join words of equal grammatical weight
  • Correlative - work in pairs to join words of equal weight
  • Subordinating - joins two clauses in such a way as to make one grammatically dependent on the other.
  • Conjunctive Adverbs - used to clarify the relationship between clauses of equal weight.
2nd block:  List the 4 steps to the communication process
Take notes on intrapersonal, interpersonal comunications, symbols. 
Intrapersonal communication activity - Houses - complete picture of what is important, what you want to achieve, etc.

3rd block:  Advanced speech Bellringer:  Create a new brand name for an existing product. Write down the product and the Brand and an example of logical, personal, emotional appeal.
Daily:  continued oral interpretations of speeches
