Linking Verbs Jan. 21, 2010
- Linking verbs link or join the subject of a sentence with a word or expression that identifies or describes the subject.
For each sentence, write the subject and the verb, and the type of verb (action or linking)

2nd block - finished powerpoint n interpersonal communication. Practiced different phone calls in pairs, discussed giving/receiving criticism and giving directions. Class members gave demonstrations.
3rd block - Finished criticism; discussed giving directions. Volunteers demonstrated. Began powerpoint on Interviewing skills, particilarly for the interviewer. Watched clips of interviews and critiqued them.
